Contemplation 1

Diwali is round the corner, only one day away. Walls of every alternative residence are lit with strings of tiny lightlings. Certainly, constellation it looks like; not one, but many constellations, just like they shine in a galaxy. Although colours are not uniform in this case, but that doesn't stop the flow of imagination.

It is very tempting to imagine every house as a separate galaxy. The house in the north west corner of ours is a red and yellow galaxy. The twinklings must be very heated. That makes them red. Less hot stars are yellow ones. But, who knows upon touching whether they will burst into flares on not. Temperature seems lower on our left side; the galaxy is here a mixture of blue and green, giving it a bioluminescent planktonic view. A floating plankton clump in the air, that's what it looks like. My preference lies with this greenish blue one, the reason being it soothes my eyes. A hue like mixture of bright red and yellow needs a high mood to be enjoyed. I don't have one right now.

Whenever anyone realizes he or she is sitting in front of a huge thing, a particular thought is bound to pop up. Invariably it is how small we are in this universe. Right now I am having such feelings inside, but I can not swear on god that this is an end product of that celestial fantasy. Lot of things are going on (or not going on) in my life to make it look smaller by each passing day. Does it end?
